Lisa Mishima is a multi-disciplinary designer located in San Francisco. With a broad experience in branding, storytelling, and experience design, she is passionate about creating edible designs that communicate ideas and stories that involve all the senses.
Since 2010, Lisa has designed a series of experiences, where she explores and challenges conventions of how people engage with food through interactive, conceptual dinners and edible art installations.
With 11 years of design experience, Lisa has developed her skills through a wide range of companies - from small design studios to ad agencies and start-ups. Her background in branding, motion graphics, and experience design allows her to approach food presentation and eating in non-traditional ways. Lisa graduated from the California College of the Arts with a BFA in graphic design.
Lisa’s work has been published in Grand Design Magazine, Paper Magazine, Food Player, and 360 Design Magazine, LS:N Global, AIGA Cause/Affect, Motionographer, ADAA, and more.
