For an off-site company meeting held at Flora Grubb, I was assigned to create an edible pie chart that explained various data to the employees. Since this was a morning meeting, the initial thought of making a cake didn't make total sense (or did it?). I settled on bagels and spreads.
Seven different spreads made up this pie chart, which by the way, is 2 feet in diameter! A bar graph made of plain and whole wheat bagels were stacked high on wooden rods - the taller was over 6 feet high and required a step stool to get the bagels down.
Next to the pie chart was this wood piece explaining the flavors of each spread:
Traditionally, people stick to one kind of spread, but everyone was curious and dug into multiple flavors.
It was a lot of fun putting this together. I think they had bagels for the rest of the week though, since I made enough to feed a whole village!
